Through Coastal project, ICEADR held meetings with local actors to determine the potential for economic growth in the Danube Delta region. By default, the first debate was related to fisheries and aquaculture, one of the main traditional activities of the area. According to the representations of the institutions that have initiated the debates (WWF, ITI Danube Delta, FLAG Danube Delta, Fish Tour Delta) all the actions that take place in the Danube Delta area are interdependent.
